Please read and understand the complexities of making this spring season happen. As of 1:30 4/14/21, the season will go on as planned. The most important thing to make note of is that EVERYONE that enters either TBSA soccer Complex’s, or APS properties associated with a TBSA event must have a mask properly worn at all times. This also includes outside your car in the parking lots. There is no waiver, or excuse even if you have had the vaccination, or an underlying health issue. EVERYONE NEEDS TO MASK UP. This is not a political point, or a personal stance. Referees and TBSA representatives are not going to argue with anyone about it. You will just be asked to vacate. TBSA grounds are either private or leased property, and the rules must be followed. We will not risk MSYSA fining or shutting us down, just so someone can try to prove a personal point. If you feel you cannot properly wear a mask, stay home. We are attempting to make more fields visible from the parking areas so if your able and sitting field side please attempt to leave closer parking spots for those that may need to distance themselves.
If you would like a refund because you will not be able to comply, please contact us ASAP. We are currently working on finalizing numbers so schedules and teams can be built. Refunds will not be offered once Jerseys are ordered unless a legal COVID mandate shuts us down.
Please again whatever your feelings we have heard it and questioned it already and our main goal is to get kids safely back onto the fields.
Players aged 13 and up will be required weekly Covid-19 Antigen testing due to the MDHHS mandate and TBSA has secured all the necessary credentials to safely offer this. We have already implemented the BinaxNOW testing program for our travel players, and more information will be coming to those select recreational players as we get closer to the season start.
If your player has been identified by the schools and the District Health Department as an individual who is required to quarantine, they must adhere to those rules and only return to play after their quarantine date is met, or officially released from quarantine.
There will be no open concession stand this year, we know team snacks are a big deal for the littles and we will be reviewing recommendations closer to season to see what, if any are allowed.
Bathrooms/Porta Toilets will be available but social distance in lines if needed.
Finally, please limit spectators. The current recommendation is 2 per player. Non-relatives should socially distance themselves 6 feet when possible.
Please be patient we will be figuring team information soon,
We understand that this is not ideal, but this is what it takes to get your child back on the pitch, please be patient and work with us. Help us make this fun, in challenging times.
